2 years agoWhat an amazing weekend. 😁 We were a group of 10 people with 5 4x4s, 4 tents, and a camping trailer. We all loved it and want to come back again. Nico was a fantastic guide on the route and really made it a special. He helped us protect our vehicles and genuinely tried to get all of us through the obstacles. Afterwards we chilled by the bush pub and made up our own stories about the number plates that were put up. The cleaning team that services the facilities are thorough and did their jobs very well. Thank you.

2 years agoGreat weekend with family. The 4x4 trip is more on the hard core side, so beware. The way to the campsite can be done by 2 wheel drive. The chalet was clean and everything you need. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Thanks Nico for the trip.

2 years agoI was a day visitor just to do the trail but was really impressed by the camp site and facilities. Fantastic honesty bar area, clean and well maintained toilets. The trail itself is well worth putting on your bucket list. It's not very long, perhaps can be completed within 3 hours on the red route in a capable vehicle like a Jeep. The 'milkshake' sand sections are fun but there are about 3 of them and they get a bit tiresome. That said there are escape routes. Once you get to the top (where there are more campsites available) there is a perfect view point and parking area. Great place for a picnic!!

6 months agoAlot off tension on your suspension. And a lot off rpm and heat on the engine. Allow engine to idle and cool down. But if this is what you like, there are plenty more. Rocky sections also, but you need to go through these sections first. I don't have recovery gear. That's why i had to do it. In M1 4H and center diff lock. Speed was 20 to 25kmph easily.

a year agoGreat trail! Great Camping area with very clean ablutions and entertainment area. Very big drawback is that they allow guests to walk around with their pistols unconcealed making us feel unsafe as they were under the influence of alcohol while doing this. Seemed there are no rules against bringing nightclub volume speakers to public areas which went on until 3:30 in the morning. Other than the fact that we felt unsafe in our camping area. Great place
