As the summer heat rises, we’re thrilled to share a tantalizing Spiced Pineapple Cocktail recipe that promises to be the life of your summer gatherings. This creation blends the tropical sweetness of pineapple with a spicy kick that’ll leave your taste buds dancing.
Hopefield’s Spiced Pineapple Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients:
- 80 ml fresh lime juice (from about 3 limes), plus wedges for serving
- 45 ml agave nectar or honey
- 240 ml pineapple juice
- 2 cups fresh or frozen pineapple cubes
- 60 ml triple sec (If you don’t have triple sec handy, you can substitute with another good-quality orange liqueur like Cointreau. For a non-alcoholic substitute you can add fresh orange juice.)
- 80 ml tequila
- 480 ml ice
- 1 ½ teaspoons chili powder (its not as eina as it sounds)
- 1 ½ teaspoons sugar
- ½ teaspoon coarse salt
Instructions:
- Stir together lime juice and agave nectar; add to a blender, along with pineapple juice, pineapple, triple sec, tequila, and ice.
- Blend until smooth and frothy.
- In a small shallow bowl or saucer, combine chili powder, sugar, and salt.
- Rub a lime wedge around the rims of 4 glasses, then dip glasses in the spice mix to coat.
- Divide the drink among glasses and serve with lime wedges.
